Vela Law & Consultancy was established in Ankara, Türkiye, by Tolga Kaan Kılıç to provide clients with a clear, resolute, and sustainable roadmap through the intricate legal landscapes of the modern world. Deriving its name from the celestial sails and guiding stars, our practice does not merely manage legal disputes; we aim to navigate our clients towards the future upon a secure and strategic foundation.

Tolga Kaan Kılıç
Founding / Managing Lawyer
Tolga Kaan Kılıç graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law, in 2017. Following his graduation, he began his legal career in Istanbul, Türkiye, focusing on Transport Law (with a particular emphasis on Maritime Law) and Commercial Law. Rising to the position of Managing Partner at the firm where he started as a legal intern, he gained extensive experience in providing preventative legal services and managing dispute resolution processes across both domestic and international business models.
During this period, in addition to specialising in debt management, he developed significant expertise in Real Estate Law (specifically in construction agreements in return for land share and tenancy disputes) and Employment Law, driven by his specialised interests during his postgraduate studies. Committed to adapting to the modern legal landscape and acquiring new competencies, Mr Kılıç resided in the United Kingdom for two years. In 2025, he founded Vela Law & Consultancy in Ankara, Türkiye, where he integrates the institutional skills gained from high-profile cases and clients with a bespoke, boutique approach.
